10 on the 10th and 30 for 30 Fundraiser

“10 on the 10th” and “30 for 30” is an easy, affordable way to make a big impact. On the 10th of each month, funds would be automatically drawn from your account. You can contribute $10 or $30 monthly/ $120 or $360 annually. Your donation directly supports the FAMU Bands and their talented students. With consistent participation from supporters like you, we can raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year—proving that small gifts truly add up to major results. “The 1946 Project” campaign raises funds to be used for scholarships in the areas of five (5) full Band Camp scholarships (not to exceed $700 each) and $2,500 budgetary cost items for the staff of the Marching 100, (14) $1,000 academic scholarships currently earmarked under various staff names for upcoming and current FAMU band students for a total of $20,000/semester or $40,000/year over the course of three years of $120,000.  The below table shows what we could raise within a year by number of participants:

Additionally, we want to encourage and strengthen the alumni community by:

• Evoke pride in the Marching 100 within the association and recall shared memories
• Rekindle pride and nostalgia
• Offer more network opportunities between alumni and current Marching 100 students
• Encourage peer influence and leave a legacy for years to come
• Increase public awareness to create a positive impact within the youth
