For more than two decades, the Marching 100 Alumni Band Association has remained committed to preserving a world-renowned musical legacy while ensuring access, opportunity, and mentorship for the next generation of musicians and leaders. Through the proceeds of our annual Alumni Jazz Concert, we directly invest in students by providing:

• Full and partial tuition scholarships for current and incoming FAMU band students
• Book vouchers to offset rising academic costs and remove financial barriers
• Band camp awards and support, ensuring students can participate fully in required preparatory programs
• Mentorship and professional exposure, connecting students with accomplished alumni musicians, educators, and industry professionals

Most recently, concert proceeds have supported multiple scholarships, over a dozen book vouchers, and band-related awards, while also extending our outreach to middle and high school students through music workshops and community-based mentorship designed to inspire early interest in collegiate band participation and music education careers.

The Alumni Jazz Concert is more than a fundraiser—it is a celebration of excellence. The event showcases nationally recognized FAMU alumni artists and musicians whose careers span performance, education, production, and leadership.
